|

The ready to use dye mixture to which the garment is added. Dye Solution + Water = Dye Bath. |

|
The solution formed when dye is dissolved in hot water to create a concentrate that should be strained before use. |

|
Substance or process used to promote dyeing permanence. |

|

Measures how resistant colour is to fading when exposed to light. |

| Liquor ratio |
|
Describes the quantity of liquid (water) relative to fabric in the dye bath or washing machine as distinct from the amount of dye. |

|
A dye type associated with cool to warm water applications. Water should not exceed 60 degreesC. |
